Dr. Stewart is a scholar, published author, researcher, professor, and Change Agent. An innovative problem solver, skilled in information technology policies, data privacy policies, resource management, requirements analysis, information assurance, information security, contracting approaches, IT portfolio advisor, emerging technologies, and Education with over thirty years of experience with the Department of Defense. Dr. Stewart developed a genuine passion for teaching and a desire to share what she has learned to create strong leaders.
Dr. Stewart served as an Executive Officer and Senior Team Leader, demonstrating leadership and success in building coalitions. She led large, technically complex, and geographically dispersed organizations. Served as senior advisor on Information Technology Acquisition Systems matters while advancing innovative, data-driven approaches across the community’s information technology acquisition enterprise. She also served as a Senior Lead for Electronic Records, Directives and as Privacy Program Officer.
Dr. Stewart serves on boards and committees while instructing specialized online courses in the associate, bachelor, master, and doctoral programs in the School of Business, Information Technology Department and speaks on emerging technologies. Her research specialty includes privacy policies, information technology, emerging technology, information assurance, and security.
