University of Fairfax Expands with New Campus in Orlando, Florida
Orlando, FL – October 21, 2024 – The University of Fairfax is proud to announce the opening of its new campus in Orlando, FL. The new Orlando location marks a significant milestone for the university, extending its reach and providing students with access to advanced graduate and doctorate level programs in computer science, cybersecurity, business administration, and information assurance.
The Orlando campus will offer a range of advanced degree programs in 2025, including:
- PhD in Computer Science and Engineering
- Doctorate in Information Assurance
- Doctorate of Business Administration
- Doctorate of Software Development
- Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management
- Master of Business Administration
- Master of Computer Science and Engineering
As part of the initial phase, the University of Fairfax is only opening enrollment for four select programs exclusively at the Orlando location. Due to limited seating, students are encouraged to apply early, as admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The programs available for enrollment include:
- Master of Computer Science and Engineering
- Master of Cybersecurity Management
- Doctorate of Information Assurance
- Doctorate of Software Development
Students enrolled in these programs will participate in designated residency weekends, a key component of the University of Fairfax’s hands-on learning approach. During these residency weekends, classrooms will be assigned as follows:
- Doctoral Residency Weekend: One classroom will be reserved for students in the Doctor of Information Assurance (DIA) program, and the other for students in the Doctor of Software Development (DSD) program.
- Master’s Residency Weekend: One classroom will be designated for students in the Master’s in Cybersecurity Management program, and the other for students in the Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering program.
These residency weekends are designed to foster collaboration and provide students with immersive educational experience, ensuring they are well-prepared for leadership roles in their respective fields.
